What is the best memory manufacturer and type for my new SR2 and the Intel Xeon W3680 Westmere-EP 3.33GHz 12MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Six-Core Server Processor BX80613W3680?
 
I'm concerned about timings, etc. I will use the system for audio and video recording and editing. I am planning on using the largest bank size the SR2 will support with something like 24 Gb per CPU. I am looking for speed and instability and not so much cost concerns.
 
BTW: Which power supply is best? The EVGA 1200W Silver or maybe the Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified or ?
 
Which heat sink is best for the Westmore? I am concerned with noise level since it's a studio setting.
Use the EVGA heat sink or maybe the Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler?
 
I plan on using a custom Mountain Mod case with room for a 2nd MOBO later. Suggestions?

W3680 wont work on sr2 , you have to get an X5680 or x5670 to match its performance .
