Check it out. I am pretty hyped up for this game. Looks awesome even thou its a copy and paste of all the other games. But this one is in the FUTURE. I love how they have a big robot and a gun scope that lets you see through walls and you can dolphin dive jump lol.

The only magic is how blindly poeple follow the trend. I feel sorry for them getting bent over for $60 a year for the same game. It seems that most people just kinda get it cause that's what you're supposed to do each year. The same kind of people bought "pet rocks" and Mood Rings, lol.
 
I do give them some credit here though for at least trying a new theme out. They've been stuck on the same "modern warfare" bit for a bit long. It still seems like an identical game though.. only now you have a fancy futuristic gun that will be exactly the same as shooting any other hit-scan spray-and-pray gun that they've had in the older games. Only now it looks a bit different.

Hmmm...... It's possible that you could be right?  But it's more likely that they just really enjoy playing that game, which I think is the simpler more likely explanation.

I play all of the MW games and I will buy the next one too. I'm just another blind follower who enjoys the whole franchise. What else can I say?! I enjoyed the Measles too!

Seems like they know their fanbase doesn't want anything drastic changed, but is willing to pay for new content every year. 

Im sorry but that looked absolutly horrible and no fun. The kill streaks even looked retarded. I hate the color schemes as well. Purple sight on the stinger looked real bad. Definitely not going to buy this game.

I take it some of you are all BF3 fan boys. I think BF3 looks better than COD and funner at times. But anyways i am going to get this game. I am not going to be a idiot and buy this game for 60 bucks. I never bought any of my PC games for 60 bucks. I buy all my games like cod and Bf3 ect.. for 10 BUCKS!! Thats right 10 bucks!! How, I get a Russian Key thats how. Ya buddy!!!!!! So it dont matter to me is its bad our not cause I wont spend a crap load on a damn video game.

I agree with you. I hate EA. EA pisses me off. They use to be so good now they are garbage. They are just ridiculousness with their terms and service. I think you all know what I am talking about. I just think this COD is pretty cool cause of the new tec. But like I said its a copy and paste of all the other games.

Compared to other popular games that get much less hate, only the graphics are the real difference.  Anyway, no doubt this Black Ops 2 will overtake even MW3's launch sales.  Judging from the video it looks as horrible as the others.  These games get boring in under a minute for me.

This game looks amazing. I will be getting it!

You can't only point your finger at CoD.  Most games are still at DX9, some have a few DX10 and/or DX11 features but not much at all.  We'll see decent DX11 usage after next gen consoles come out I assume.

Man, That's going to be loads of fun. But like always I'm going to pass single player on veteran before starting MP. Preordered it like a month and a half ago.... Can't wait!

Yeah, but I think even the games makers have realized the series is so stale that even the die-hard fans might start asking why each game is identical.
 
Now they can point at it and say "See! It's not the same game, it has robots!"

Now it will be even harder to distinguish CoD from Crysis 2/3.

I'm just looking forward to seeing people who don't like COD get MAD about the game as they sell 10s of millions of dollars worth of product!!!  

I own all of the COD games, but I wait untill they are around $20 or less. But to be honest, I played Black Ops for a week, then played Bad Company 2 full time again, then migrated to Battlefield 3, bought Modern Warfare 3 to see where the story mode goes, beat the game, then went back to Battlefield 3 & Skyrim, currently still playing both Skyrim and BF3, waiting for Assassins Creed 3, and possibly the next Medal of Honor, but not for a crazy $70. That whole Battlefield 4 early beta access is a joke, and you wont see that happen till this time next year at least, so who cares.
CoD used to be awesome, but now it just feels more of the same game it was with Modern Warfare 1. After playing BF3, you really cannot go back to playing a multiplayer FPS that won't allow to destroy areas where campers hide behind, not to mention the use of vehicles, graphics and sound quality of BF3, etc.
