Hi guys its me again.. so I decided to take a vacation from my computer until two days ago thats when i discovered that one of my gtx 690's was bad so i sent it off and I had one working great for 2 hours but then the Nvidia display setting are not available error came up "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU" So I got extremely mad so I ordered a NEW card.. and Formated my system after using driver sweeper and all that stuff.. and now I am booting with only the new card.. but I am still getting the error. So i reinstalled Windows, Put on the newest drivers, and I am still getting an error. Please help what could it be ? could it be the motherboard ?

That's 3 bad 690s if I've interpreted correctly? Thats horrible luck or more likely something you've overlooked. What's the rest of the system specs? Could it be an inadequate PSU? Have you disabled onboard VGA if present?

Lol well supposedly one if the original ones is bad the two I have left just get the the driver error one of the two I got yesterday brand new. T_T and I know luck isn't something I have a lot of. Anyways I called Vega they said it's a bad motherboard I don't think these guys know anything about computers.. but whatever I rma'ed the mother board just in case. My motherboard is rampage iv extreme. Psu lepa 1600w

 
Well you will know if it's the Motherboard when you get a replacement. Hopefully that's all it was. Three cards bad seems unheard of, but not impossible I guess!       

Count me in. In the pain of having bad cards. So far I have not been able run the card for even a second keep getting the Code 43. The third one is going to get shipped. I tried it in 2 systems and keep getting the same problem.

My old 570 works just fine with no issues. Will say that EVGA is treating me good and no complaints there.

I'm running a sabertooth P67 with an i7 2600k.

Nothing overclocked. Have a 750w PSU. 2 Hdds, 6 140mm fans, water pump, pci wifi. So a card with a 650w requirement should not have any issues with a 750w.

His issue was resolved by upgrading his power supply. However, I see you have a Lepa 1600W PSU (great brand, btw) - are you using direct PCI-e power connectors from that? Have you tried switching to another connector and/or slot from your PSU to your graphics card? Just start digging into anything related to power to rule that out.

Reinstalled windows and the problem was solved. EVGA told me that they would like to have their cards work out of the box but a handful of people I guess are having the code 43 issue.
