Hello friends, I did a bad thing. I am building a new system as my p55 classified died on me So i threw my old p55 le back in service! I have ben a long time evga fan but my budget wouldn't let me buy a new z77ftw so I cheaped out and bought a gigabyte z77-ud5. Well I just got my refund on it cause it was junk! I ordered a n ASUS Maximus V FORMULA LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard. Yes i feel a bit dirty buy I really like the features such as built in water block. I bought a 3770k a few weeks ago that I have not ever got to use yet. I have an evga 570 sc gpu the 1572-ar sku. 650w single rain coolermaster psu a force 3 80g ssd a sandisk extream sata 6g 240g ssd and a pair of 1g WD black sata 6g drives. I am cooling this setup with a corsair h100 in a push pull config with some top notch 120mm fans 16g of corsair domanator ram 1600. I plan on building my first custom water loop so I can cool everything down real nice. My question that I seek from the evga gods is to have mercy on my asus cheating soul and should I step up to a 670 or 680 or would I be better and cheaper to slap another 570 on this bad boy and find some waterblocks. also I am going from a first gen i7 860 (1156) at 4.2 to this new IB so I hope I will be happy with it.

get a 670 ftw, best from both worlds. preform just as good or better than a 570 sli. you might also need a bigger psu if u decide to get another 570

Also what I have been reading the 680 is not too much better than the 670, no where near the scale of the 570-580 relationship. I could maybe squeeze 2 670's out of my wife over a couple months, ut I also hear that the 7000 series is coming out after xmas. I don't really play anything except eve lol, The pc is more an addiction than a need now.

Always single gpu over SLI if they are same performance. I have a some what of a same setup your planing on getting. I can't get a 3rd gpu 2 work you can read my post its in this same section. 2 570 are gona run hotter drow more power and nvidia is not working to the full power to roll out optimized driver for SLI.
