So I walk out the door on my way to work this morining and see this . Someone jumped the curb took out a fire hydrant slammed into my neighbors car and pushed it in mine then left the scene.  Some people just really suck.  I am a little lucky as normaly my evo is parked where that little silver car is but just dropped it off last night at the shop. If this happen any other day I would have two messed up cars so I guess thats the silver lining.

That sucks. Any clues to the person who did it?

No clues at all. Just some black paint on the fire hydrant. Yeah I'm guessing it was a drunk. So mad this morning.

That sux.  Hopefully you and your neighbor will be able to find out who did this and hold them accountable.  Good luck with everything.

my cars been hit 3 times by hit and runs while at work :-/ over $3500 in damage total on top of a deer... i gave up on keeping my altima nice..

From the look of the dent in that silver car looks as if the hydrant whacked it an not the guy that left the scene (chain reaction)

At least it just looks like the door got dinged up slightly. Still would make me very angry!

Except the hydrant would not cause the car to fly into his car lol

Well that had to be a tough way to start your day. Chances are if the driver was intoxicated (sure looks that way) he/she was probably leaving from a neighbors house. I'm sure the police will be asking around. 

last year we had a guy make a wrong turn into our developement @ 2am and slam into the only light pole on the street. he tried to take off but he hit so hard the tires came off the rims.
 
i went to check on the guy, he was okay for the most part. he releaved himself on the side of the road befor running away on foot like some how it would all make it go away.

That is messed up ...but at least no one was hurt

You would think that would have woke me up but I'm a very sound sleeper lol. None of my neighbors said they heard anything until they heard me yelling after I seen my car. lol

Yeah, that just happened to me two days ago. I work security, so I ended up watching it happen on camera. This woman just backed up into my car and drove off like it was nothing... I checked for the damages, but I couldn't really find anything... So I didn't even bother to call the police... Just annoys the crap out of me how fast people just bust out of there when they know they messed up.

This never happened to me, but I did have an old man back up across the entire side of my parked car causing a whopping 1500 dollars in damage on my 91' Honda Accord 
I ended up keeping the money i got from his insurance

Some lift with nice 38"s and most of your dumb driver problems are dealt with the suspension.

I still need to install a "brush" guard and "rock" sliders.
 
If I get nudged on the road, it will be fun trolling the guy what scratch he inflicted and what ones were from off-roading.

So I went lookimg around today and found a black car with the front end covered in some guys driveway. I cant tell if there is any damage with walking up and lifting the cover. I just know I have never seen that car covered before. Might be taking a midnight jog past this guys house lol

 
Either a drunk driver, or someone without insurance.

If it's him are you going to
A) waste your time with the cops
B) file an insurance claim
C) set it on fire

Haha, the words that most of been flowing out of your mouth. Anyway if it were me I would walk up to that black car and take a peak under the cover ASAP, it seems really suspicious and you don't know if he is trying to get it fixed quickly to avoid discovery. If he is your perp he is dumb as nails to leave that car in the same neighborhood where it happened. GL   

since it happened in that neighborhood than there is a good chance they love close by or were at someones house in that area... Because they had to be going to or from a destination that required them to go down that road.
