Mounting Diagram for SR-2/SR-X. Working on Custom Acrylic Case. Need Specs Monday, July 23, 2012 5:24 PM (permalink)
If anyone has the layout diagram for the hole mounts for the HPTX style boards please let me know. We are working on a custom enclosure using a CNC Laser machine. I will update/start a new thread as soon as we start cutting in the next day or so. Just waiting on final specs for board mounting. ( I checked FormFactor.org, but do not see HPTX, we've built ATX and other board mounts into the design, as will be selling our cases soon ) Thanks !

EVGA is the company that developed the HPTX form Factor ... your best bet may be to pick up the MM HPTX Tray only and use that as a base of measurement ... that is about the best advice i can give on this matter

Between the image posted and the DXF Gratuitous sent me, there is a small fractional offset between the two closest holes on the top of the board, about a 1MM difference ( I will test both soon. ) Thanks for the help, much appreciated !

glad it helped! BTW i have cnc cut several to my dimentions and use them every day. fit perfectly. the diagram above leaves out that one hole under the chipset fan. mine has it.

Nate, I will e-mail you my dxf. can you compare it to the sr-x for me. I am just assuming its the same at this point.

                    Hi Gratuitous,

could you please be so kind to send that DXF file to me? I'm not allowed to send pm on this forum yet, since I'm a new member here.

I'm building a custom case and I have all the measures for ATX form factor. I would like to add HPTX form factor compatibility to the case I am making, but unfortunately I do not have a spare SR-2/SR-X motherboard.

                    Thank-you in advance,

                    Marco
