Ah, a more normal price for a normal SSD. I never understood why it costs so much more than others, when it isn't even the fastest.
peeler05 half of skyrim is traveling or alt tabing to google how to play the game. gutcheck I just left my son in the sink to run upstairs and download Black Mesa

Intel 520 is one of the very fastest and most costly, but apart from that you get Intel's brand name like you say. Intel had the lowest failure rates by a pretty good margin last year since they seem to have the best firmware. Crucial and Samsung were #2 and #3 and pretty close so I never saw the value in Samsung.

Crucial and Samsung were #2 and #3 and pretty close so I never saw the value in Samsung. Indeed, I don't see the value in Samsung either, as I don't in Apple or any other overpriced brand. I love how accessible Intel is making their consumer SSDs. They used to be 2 or 3 times more than a G.SKILL, OCZ, Mushkin, etc and now they're closing in on price. Intel drivers are easily worth their money, especially the 330 series. They are the highest quality SSDs made, period. After their most recent (rumored) price cuts, it'll be verging on foolish to not buy an Intel drive. Samsung drives are pretty high quality too, but they haven't learned that a decent price yields way more profit, and their speeds can't really compete with most modern drives today.
