rjohnson11 I've settled this by giving a BR to Crap but only because his advice was sound based on the amount of money that the OP had to spend. Now everyone be nice! Unbelievable....... You thought this thread was legit? Facepalm

You thought this thread was legit? Facepalm I'm sure RJ was just trying to find a way to settle this because frankly it's getting a bit childish. I would imagine that in the future this kind of thing will be brought to the mods attention and won't be as much of an issue.

^ I doubt it. No one brings anything to the mods attention. Unless it's for selfish gains or someone don't like another persons opinion.
Man is capable of as much atrocities as he has imagination. To err is human, to blame someone else is good management skills People are, well, only human. We know that. The rule of law is borne out in identifying, condemning, and punishing those who violate the standards on which we all agree. This is exactly what we do in America. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

^What I meant was maybe they will see that giving BR's for this sort of thing causes problems and refrain from doing so unless there is good information in the post. But I suppose we'll have to see about that.

It was good information and it did fix a problem. Problem, not enough VRAM and not enough money for a 4GB version of the GTX 600 series cards. A solution was given, the recommendation was taken, the problem was alleviated with a more affordable video card which will allow the OP to buy a Nvidia card at a later date. What do you guys not understand about the BR awarded? Chrome-M-Dragon ^ I doubt it. No one brings anything to the mods attention. Unless it's for selfish gains or someone don't like another persons opinion. In some cases this may be true, but a little extreme to say no one... Many posts get deleted before most even see what happened... There have been plenty of times I take a day or two break and someone got banned with no public evidence left behind of why they were banned. I've seen a few personal attacks in the past that I reported, they were removed pretty quick. Not everything is that black and white.

I'm usually more of a lurker but I too see people have been banned and have no idea why. And seeing as the TOS states we can't discuss why someone was banned in the forums, I don't usually find out. Just think of what we don't see at all.

All deletions (unless blatantly obvious) are discussed between the moderators (and if necessary EVGA management). Sometimes we will lock the thread and post the reason for the lock. Other times, we will lock or delete the thread without explanation. It depends on the situation. Bans, we do not discuss publicly period. If you see that a member has been banned, then they have been. They can explain when they get back (via PM). Most post deletions/closures are discussed with fellow moderators. All bans are discussed with mods and EVGA management. There are often things that happen behind the scenes (such as multiple warnings to an individual) that lead to bans. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly at webmaster@evga.com and I will be happy to discuss. Thanks, Rob
