570 SC HD SLI not working Saturday, July 07, 2012 7:20 AM (permalink)
Today I got my 2nd 570 HD SC for a SLI set-up.  Connected 2nd card in SLI slot of mobo.  Connected PSU cables.  Put SLI band on to connect cards.  Turned on PC.  PC recognizes both cards.  all is fine and dandy.  I uninstalled drivers and installed new ones.  Went and got EVGA SLI enhancement patch also.  And am not seeing the option in nvidia control panel (physX config) to enable SLI.  Games are not recognizing SLI either.   Cant find anybody w/ same issue online either.  Anybody know whats going on?

All I can suggest at this point is to pull that 2nd GPU you just installed and reseat it.  Double check all connections are good and secure.  Remove the SLI bridge and reinstall it making sure its on the tabs good.  Uninstall the drivers following the guide and re-install them.  If you get the same result, try moving the SLI bridge to the other set of tabs.  Let us know how that works out.

Okay, resat video cards, re-tried sli bridge in everyway possible and re-installed drivers, still to no success.  Frusterating.  So frusterating i'm considering purchasing a 670FTW and selling both of these's.  Time to shop.   Thanks for the help guys.

Look up the drivers for your motherboard. I was having the same issue when I put in my 2nd Evga 570 on my EVGA motherboard. I downloaded the latest chipset drivers for my motherboard and everything is working fine.
