Credit goes to Tony @ CAG.  Deal starts July 1st and expiration varies between game to game.  That Max Payne 3 deal definitely looks good!  Amazon is now starting to carry more "Steam DRM" activated games....Max Payne 3 is not a steamworks game, but Amazon is probably buying codes from Steam as a special exception, and reselling them.

Son of a spammer! That deal with Civ 4: CE, Civ 5: GoTY and Stronghold Collection makes me slightly regret buying the Civ 4: CE for 30 bucks alone. Oh well not really worth getting in a rage fest over it since the Civ 5: GoTY only includes I think the DLC stuff. I might go for the MP3 deal though.

I hope we can get the Duke Nukem Forever DLC on the cheap by itself.

For old time's sake: CAG Amazon Thread Number 1

          From Electronic Arts:

          Games that activate on Origin

How do I deauthorize Securom Wrapped EA Games?

          http://activate.ea.com/deauthorize/

          Per MysterD's suggestion:

Here's the Steam Key Activation Page List.

NOTE: This list is incomplete so if you're unsure you still want to ask in the thread.

I'll be posting this a few times in this thread. I also post this regularly whenever people ask about activation limits with Amazon Game Downloads:

          http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...0205020&#times

How many times can I download my games or software?

You can download an unlimited number of times for personal use. To re-download, go to Your Games and Software Library through the "Your Digital Items" link at the top of the screen and click the download button.
Can I download and install to multiple computers?

For video games: Each game manufacturer has a different policy on how many installations are allowed with each product key. If you run out of installations for the product key you originally purchased from Amazon, please contact Customer Service and we will happily provide you with another key at no additional charge. You can install an unlimited number of times for personal use, however additional copies of the game for friends or family must be purchased separately.

          Notes on price matching:

          1. Amazon DVG doesn't match physical disc deals
          2. AND doesn't match International digital download deals - i.e. Gamersgate, GreenManGaming, GOG & GetGamesGo.

          Thanks for the suggestion MysterD!

Dragon Age 2 in this sale is Origin activated, not Steam. Steam doesn't like the key.

I am in the UK and the UK version of Amazon does not have digital download.

Would I be able to buy and download it using a proxy?

I've heard of people using fake addresses in their Amazon account to buy digi items from the US website.

I think a proxy would work as well too...not totally sure though

Maybe I will give it a go with something very cheap to start with and see if it works, once it is activated on Steam then it is too late and it is mine no matter what, I hope.

All you need is the serial.  Have someone buy it for you, or if you need to pop in a US address.  Nothing is physically shipped so no worries there.  If I don't have to have something shipped etc, I enter a random address when prompted by any online service because I feel my 4th amendment rights precede a company's curiosity into my personal life.

Sounds good, I get amazon vouchers from searching with Bing.  With the amount of points I'm pulling I could get a few games if I wanted :)

Looks pretty good. I might hold out to see if the steam summer sale starts monday, if not im going to grab a few on this list. Alot of people are saying its not going to start till july 12th on the steam forums, but i still got hope.

yeah I hope steam starts soon...my impulse trigger finger is getting real itchy

Any sweet multiplayer deals that should draw more attention over the others?  It could be fun to grab a serial for an online game of some sort and make new friends on Steam.  It's gotta be something so awesome that it pulls me away from my Skyrim addiction.

I may have to pass on the deals this month. Despite wanting to get Max Payne 3. Oh well. My money as is may be getting tied up in redoing my bedroom.

I hope we can get the Duke Nukem Forever DLC on the cheap by itself.

The Doctor Who Cloned Me? I have that DLC and its really good, hilarious in certain parts

Wow The Darkness II must of bombed badly enough to be dirt cheap during this sale. It's cheaper than MP3. In fact I am debating if I should pick up both games.

I can only speak for myself naturally, but I found the game to be very enjoyable. It's a dark and gritty violent game with a very cool cell shaded comic book style. Granted the game is kind of short and the weapon selection becomes repetitive, It has a story that kept me interested with a few twists and turns. I was a fan of the original game just because it was something we as gamers, had not seen before and the atmosphere/storyline are up there with Metal Gear Solid (in my opinion)

The game does have a somewhat limited Co-Op option, but it is fun none the less.

I am glad that I did not pay full retail price for the game; But I think that the game is more than worth it's current price (If you can look past the games length and are a fan of The Darkness or games of that nature).

Oh I played the demo and had fun but I think the reason it bombed initially thus the super low price is because TotalBiscuit made a rightfully so huge stink over the FOV issue. I think a lot of people were turned off as a result. However I can't afford anymore stuff this month or next. In the middle of a huge bedroom redo. Gotta turn into a better day time mancave\den. I did score Civ 5: GOTY and it's xpack though thanks to the July sale.

The price on the Mass Effect 3-pack bundle makes absolutely NO sense now..... it was correct a few days back but now it has been messed up along with the BF3 bundle pricing is way higher than individually bought..... ??
AMAZONs' pricing computer is getting overworked and needs a break for Summer.
