Hello I've got a EVGA P55 sli motherboard. I just bought a ASUS U3S6 PciE card (for SATA3 & USB3), and a SATA3 SSD (M4 crucial). I tryed to boot from this ASUS PciE card on the SSD, but the bios of the EVGA P55 doesn't see the drive... Does someone know if I can boot with this ASUS PciE Card (on The SSD in SATA 3) with my EVGA P55 sli? Thanx

So, it seems everybody are on holidays, so I've found something. I've moved the ASUS U3S6 on the second PCIe slot (x8). And now it is detected in the bios, and I can boot on the SSD in SATA3. But the joy was short. After Bios, the ASUS U3S6 message say always "PCIe X1 : 5.0 Gbps", and with AS SSD, the performances are lower than with EVGA SATA2. You can look at the picture : Perhaps it could be better if the PCIe was used as a x8 PCIe slot. For now I don't know why the message is saying : "PCIe X1 : 5.0 Gbps" Some forums say the marvel controller on this ASUS is crappy. Any idea ??? Thanx
