Yes it does work with your card, but it takes advantage of the dynamic nature of 600 series cards more. From the Precision X FAQ.... Q. What is Frame Rate Target and what does it do? A. Frame Rate Target limits your framerate to the specified setting. On 600 series cards, the frame rate limiter will also allow the card to limit the amount of power utilized to match the specified framerate. Note: you must restart the application for the setting to apply. What kind of frame rates are you seeing without the limiter?

i had that cpu framerate targeting isnt going to be able to get you to 50fps without more power from the rest of the system for a cheap upgrade i recommend a AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727 slap that in there with a good cooler oc to 4ghz and it will bring your frame rates up and the game will run alot smoother

'Framerate targeting' isn't going to increase your frame rate. The maximum you're getting without it, is your maximum frame rate. What it does do, is CAP or limit your frame rate to a maximum of what you set it at.
