help with OC 3570k

I just moved to the Intel Ivy Bridge 3570k chip,I have overclocked my fx6100 in the past with just the multiplier and voltage.I was hoping someone could help me with overclocking this chip with a little more detail .I am water cooling everything just keep that in mind. I am using the Asrock z77 extreme 4 board with 16 gigs of gskill ripjaws @1866mhz any help would be greatly appreciated.

You OC Sandy and Ivy Bridge by adjusting the multiplier and adding voltage.

My 3570K bought only a week or two ago is at 4.5 GHz, i only adjusted the multiplier and only changed the vcore voltage to 1.28. Running linx i have managed to be stable at 1.25 vcore, i am happy with the result.

thanks guys,I just there was more to it with the Intel chip.I have new water block coming tomorrow gonna wait till then.

Even if you are on water, or a Thermostat controlled TEC/Chiller to keep everything at ambient, watch those temps like a hawk, I always agree to push things harder, BUT, minimize the risks, id hate to see you do any damage to the parts. But you are gaining on the 5ghz mark........

looks like 4.5@ 1.285 voltage is my sweet spot.temps maxed out at 80c on water even.
