Custom tower....

Done alittle bit of searching, what I'm looking for exists but is way more than I'm willing to spend on it.... I have a i7-920 not in a case and a i7-3770k in a case. Being in Okinawa, it is somewhat difficult for me to go all out on this. I'm wanting to build a case to hold both systems. The case I have now is all plexi glass, so I intend to re-use the drive bay rack. As far as the rest of the case, I'm kind of lost on how to go about it.... I'm thinking possibly building it so the boards lay horizontal with one suspended from the top of it and orienting them so both psu's can be in the same spot.... No measurements yet, it might end up being wider than I'm picturing, though. Any ideas? Materials? Configurations? Things to look out for? If it makes a difference, using a hyper 212 and a h80 for cooling on these....

Thanks, but those are the ones I was looking at, more than I'm wanting to spend.... It isn't so much for me, I know the wife is gonna complain about the noise and the computer just sitting on my desk when she gets home in 2 weeks.... It's out of the way and my 19-month old won't be able to reach it yet, but she doesn't like cables and electronics being visible....

What I was suggesting was to look at them and base your case design around it. if you know how to work with sheet metal and equip it's not an issue you could also look at danger den you can find some motherboard plates http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g43/c241/s905/list/p1/Case_Parts-OEM-Lian_Li_Parts-Lian_Li_Motherboard_Tray-Page1.html?id=KnpNtNPN

I don't think there is anything on base out here for metal working, they do have a wood shop though.... Although I don't think I could bring in both systems and everything and try to work a wooden case in a room filled with others working with wood and the dust and everything going around.... It'll be a work in progress for awhile, I guess....
