Memory trouble

Memory trouble Friday, June 15, 2012 7:28 AM (permalink)
My computer says i only have 6.96GB availiable from the 8GB installed, any suggestions. Has this anything to do with windows being installed on a SSD, or can i assume it is the 1gb i designated to the cpu gpu

    if your using windows 7 it uses alot of memory for prefetch and other services
    bulldozer had a bad motor but i hope pile-driver is a giant killer

      if your using windows 7 it uses alot of memory for prefetch and other services

       
      So i have no choice in any settings, if any available.

          I will live with then, thanks. I am going to buy another 8GB of ram anyway.

            the onboard graphics is using a bit of that to so the sooner you get a gpu the better

              the onboard graphics is using a bit of that to so the sooner you get a gpu the better

              Sort of playing the waiting game until August/September, being broke does not help either.

                i know that feeling but you might wanna try the marketplace on here or craigslist you can find used 460s and 550ti for under 100 and that would help
