New Video card for my old 680i

Hi, Guys... Im searching a replace for my old 8800GTS video card, but dont know it there are any limitations in my nforce 680i with the new video card series?? Im just searching for a non expensive +/-2gb video card just to ajust for some new games and not to upgrade all my PC Thanks!

What is your goal price point?

Wow... a lot more that I was expecting. This motherboard is supposed to be able to support any PCIE format and with that in mind I would suggest the GT 640. You will get a lot of performance gain and save a good chunk of change. If you want to go with a 500 series card, look at the GTX 560 Ti series. Frankly if you can wait, I would suggest holding out till the GTX660s come out. I would bet they are going to be in the $250 price range.

i was looking into the 640, seemed pretty sweet with 384 cuda cores and all but the even the older gts450 is a better card and the 560ti eats it up
