I still use Firefox, no desire to switch to chrome

Chrome is really fast, and that is the only good thing about it. I stick with Firefox for all the customizations and addons that I use daily. There are so many things that Chrome simply cannot do.

My Systems: i7 3770K Rig with GTX570  |  AMD FX-8350 CPU Folding Rig (offline Hardware FAILED after 1 week )  |  AMD FX-8150 CPU Folding Rig (Online)  |  Dual Xeon 2.66GHz Mac Pro With GTX550Ti  |  2 x Dual Xeon 3.2GHz 1U Rackmount Servers  |  i3 Laptop  |  Core2Duo Laptop   Atom Dual Core 1.6GHz Netbook  |  Atom Single core 1.6GHz Netbook

All running Linux. (Most running my own customization, "Longcat OS")  One HDD with Win7 on it just for games that won't run under WINE.

As a web developer, I'm glad someone finally had the guts to implement an IE surcharge. Maybe people's wallets will finally motivate them to upgrade.

On one particular website anyway. More companies should do this, it's criminal to be using IE at all.

you know its time i imposed a tax on all online e-tailers, so from now on i will be charging online e-tailers 8% tax for teh pleasure of me doing business with them now to get it setup for newegg, evga, etc
i am offended by your sig so you need to remove it.

ie9 isnt that bad but i love chrome especially because all my bookmarks settings and etc... are backed up so if i get a new pc or reformat mine all i have to do is sign in and all my stuff is right back just how i left it and as time is going by the is less and less things firefox can do that chrome cant every pc i build or repair i put chrome on and let the owner choose between it and ie and the only person that doesn't use chrome exsclusivly is my dad who also uses aol because he doesnt wanna give it his "youve got mail" lol
bulldozer had a bad motor but i hope pile-driver is a giant killer

I only used IE to have a second hotmail account open and to see some sites that hang in Firefox.

I only use IE7 when I need to submit a score to hwbot and don´t have much time to installa other browser. It´s annoying, but I cand endure it.

Apparently 6.3% of the world still uses IE6.

I would bet that the majority in that statistic are Spiders, Robots, or nefarious web tools.

The biggest reason why IE users end up with more viruses, is in general, their lack of knowledge of using a computer. Not the browser but user error. The browser itself (if you keep it up to date) IS rather secure. No one can protect from user stupidity though.
