People tend to rally around a single motto, multiple mottos or slogans confuse folks.

OK, how do we pick? A vote by the members?

I'm thinking that might be best... I know Punchy has used Google in the past... I'll check into it.

I think we should limit it to perhaps 2 or 3 such as shirts that have alot of room can have something longer bumper stickers too but mugs tags hats and badges/stickers/emblems something short and to the point
 
Like join evga or the cure cancer or something on shirts and bumpers and one of the others on hats mugs...

I can set up a vote easily enough - just tell me what you want set up.

I'm still working on this Punchy... I figure let's take care of the one major thing we have in processing now.  I'll gather everything and lay it out when all have spoken.

I like that looks pretty good if it goes on a bumper sticker than the font may need to be changed or the color but otherwise its not bad

It's a bumper sticker and yeah... they are just place holders... It's one of those things...

Not yet... I'm still working on designs and we have one vote in progress for co-captains.  I didn't want to muddy the waters just yet.  I'm just tossing out designs.  Speaking of which I need to work on some variations on a theme.

Yes that vote is still ongoing.  Haven't heard how long it will be.  Sometimes it takes a long time for some of our team mates to check in and we wanted to make sure we got enough participants to actually vote so it didn't look like it was three people voting for each other...
 
I'll PM the co-captains to see where it stands.  Once done I can work on the rest of the stuff we've talked about (setting up a vote for the team motto etc.)

Nope... but I haven't done much either waiting for all the other things.  I'll ask Punch to put up a vote on the slogan/mottos for us.
 
Anyone have any other mottos/slogans they'd like to add... chime in now.  I'll pop over to WCG when punchy has it set up and send out a mass email to those that receive 'em.

Okay, I think this is the final design for the DC Strike Force.  Punchy, I'll be PM'ing you to set up a Google vote for the motto soon.

any news on when we will have the vote up and how much will the printing and shirts mugs cost?

I hadn't gotten much response and was waiting to see if there was still some interest.  I've done a bit of pricing and it's almost cheaper to just email the PSD to whoever wants it and then they can have a mug made at say Walmart.
 
No voting yet as I had thought the excitement had died out and so wasn't going to push things that had no interest.

well if people arent interested what can you do but send me any designs you have i might just make a shirt for myself and maybe a mug or something. i wanted to make a competition and then have some give aways but if no one wants to participate i wont push it

It's the coffee cup and Punchy is putting up the voting... we need to move this thread to the top... meaning the new thread.  Not this one.

Kinda got distracted, that's why I have not been around much. I like the badge. Excitement really not died out, was just waitng for finalization of all the plans. Now that is happening, everything is looking good. Excitement level up again.
