Diablo 3 item question

Anyone playing diablo 3 that might help me out? I got like 8 mirrors in my stash that i have no clue what to do with. Says there worth like 50 gold but i dont want to sell them or salvage them if there actually used for something. I also got a pair of dice and some kind of rainbow vile that i dont know what to do with either. Thanks.

They're for the followers. Each item is unique to the three characters. For example, the mirrors are for the woman. Viewing the character info for the characters, it's the left-most box you can place these items in.

Dice are for the Scoundrel and tomes, chalice, anything holy is for the Templar.

The Liquid Rainbow is for the secret Cow Level (Whimsyshire). Hold onto it until you get all the pieces.

Alright cool, i got my templar follower up to lv. 24 now and gave him a relic to use but he couldnt equip any of the other ones so i figured maybe they would be used for something else. Probably just going to salvage the ones i dont want then since i got 8 all together and dont plan on using the other 2 followers any time soon. Ill hold on the the rainbow vile then if theres a cow level like d2. Is that what the random peice of paper i cant sell is for too? i remember you needed something like that to open the portal in d2. Thanks

Is that "paper" numbered? If it is it's probably from the ship in Act II. It's a tribute to the TV show Lost. Google for more info.
