thinking on a new HDD

looking at 1tb HDD's to copy over all my files from my dead 1tb drive. its dead in the fact it only works a minute or so at a time but my friend has a duplicator that might work past that, if not then I want a reliable drive. anyone have any suggestions?
I was made a cannibal to fix problems like you

Caviar Greens are good for that type of thing. Also look into Samsung Spinpoint series, they're fast and solid drives too!
