Waiting for mine to arrive on Thursday.  Finally got the opportunity to buy on on the EVGA site.

I would like to buy the backing plate; but, on is not listed on the site and I did not have an option to buy the 4Gig version w/ back-plate.  Does anyone know if the 680 plate fits?  Seems to be same PCB, in size at least.

Thanks EVGA for listening to your customers: Re Join the petition for a 670 FTW backplate.

Better heat distribution across the PCB, better components like solid caps, a larger heatsink and stronger fan too. Here's a comparison of my FTW card and the SC card it replaced. Along with the current overclock I'm looking at. Do note that the boost clock is not the clock speed the card runs at. It can go much higher. Usually it goes up to around 1240 and as high as 1250 at my current clock speeds.

yea 670 ftw, very nice card. Too bad a 670 Ftw 4gb isn't available atm. You would almost assume with the problems they had with the 670 SC 2gb would translate into the 670 SC 4gb model as well unless they sort it all out.
