Now for a temporary video card, while I wait for both a 680 4 gig card ( & some darn more money ) My trusty EVGA GTX 260 - core 216 w/ backplate.... card still looks sharp- IMHO !! Eventually I will be putting another Corsair product in here- the mighty AX 1200 http://www.newegg.com/Pro...x?Item=N82E16817139014 but temporarily going to use a spare PSU for testing, boot ups etc..etc.. for now

some more random items i will be using ...... ... ...and this is where I am at the moment.... as you can see, that is an OCZ Fatality Champion series PSU while I will be doing the setups and initial testing.... I couldn't find my PC Power Cooling Red PSU ??? I either used it on another system or it is hiding in my closet from me....

Excellent rig but noob camera used to take pics. Funny how we have thousands of dollars for PC parts but we lag in camera department. Funny thing is we both went with ASRock motherboards for X79. I got X79 Extreme4-M. SO far it has been rock solid for me. Did you fire up your rig yet? Do you have updated BIOS on that board due to CPU used? When you are finished with your rig please use better camera for those awesome pron shots. Only reason I come to mods rigs sections is for pure geek pron. Very nice rig Steve.

Looking really good, Steve! I went with the P67 FTW, but I'm sure you'll be happy with the X79. I love all those Evga products in your build. Just makes it look that much better. Very good build all around.

quick check in........ I have been back & forth on this all day SATurday....... * make mental note* do NOT try to put Win 8 Preview build on exciting new hardware.... ( win 8 drivers are non existent for alot of things ) I am now going to have to wipe it and put a win 7 -64 bit on , so I can actually start loading things and trying stuff out. P.S. - I'll see what I can do about upping the res on the pics ...
