I was hoping this version might show the specs correctly, but it doesn't. Not for me anyway. What I mean is, GPU 1 shows the clocks of GPU #2, yet the Temp & Fan speed of #1. Same thing when I switch to the #2 GPU, but reversed?? Anyone else with multiple SLI'd cards experience this?

Why can't I run the OCScanner longer than 20sec before my 580 goes down to 425MHz? When I do the OCP mod in furmark the card will drop down after 1sec. It's a 580 1.5gb HC2, 301.24 drivers

Gluma It's stock. (as in pre oc'd) 850mhz core / 2098mhz mem 1088volt maks temps 45-50 That is strange. The only thing I could suggest at this point is remove all traces of Precision, OC scanner, & graphics drivers. Then reinstall. Graphics driver 1st then Precision, then OC scanner. See if that resolves issue. Make sure you uninstall graphics driver in programs/ features, then use safe mode & remove all traces of it (driver & physx only) with driver sweeper if you didn't already know that. Good luck...let me us know if this works.

It's a 580 1.5gb HC2, 301.24 drivers Your GTX 580 is simply throttled down by nvidia drivers. The default stress test of OC Scanner is a bit less aggressive than FurMark one that's why the GTX 580 can run at full speed during 20sec before running at half speed (read this). OC Scanner has a function that tries to reduce the GPU usage to prevent throttling. You can enable it by checking the GPU load limiter in the settings box. But reduced GPU load means less stress on the GPU... You can also try the old R263.09 driver. I tested it and there's no throttling with my GTX 580.

You'll notice that GPU1 is showing the correct higher temp & fan speed, but the throttled down clocks. Where GPU2 shows lower temps & fan speed with the full clocks. I have 2 monitors plugged into GPU1 so the clocks are always at full. Now Precisision X and the previous version 2.1 both show everything correctly as well as Aida64. So my question was if anyone else see's this samething ocurring?

An easier way is to use current drivers & just go into NVCPL/ manage 3d settings/ click program settings tab/ select EVGA OC sanner in the program drop down list & change the "Power management mode" from adaptive to prefer max performance. That will keep your clocks at full speed with no throttling down while you run it.

I have noticed that OC scanner does work with SLI. I have one card at 99% and the other at 22%. Also a note: OC Scanner mixes the two cards: GPU1 is GPU2 (in msi afterburner and nvidia control panel) and vice versa.

Where can i download the older version? I had no problem with OC scanner till I uploaded to this v. 2.1.2

Same here, just got 2 580 FTW+ editions and "Not Responding"... I'm starting to think EVGA quality is going down hill.

I tried running the OC Scanner with my old 8800GTS, and it does NOT work at all. When I try to run the benchmark or stress test, a black screen appears, times out, and says "Not Responding". This is with v2.2.0 and Windows Vista 64-bit. Any solutions???????
