EVGA_MikeP Hi everyone, We do apologize for the delays with this product, but the NEX1500 is our first in-house power supply project and will be the flagship of our new PSU series, so we've been working hard to make it as perfect as possible. But now it is on the way, it is finalized, and we will have them soon. We will launch the NEX1500 this month. Thank you all for your patience, you don't have to wait too much longer. :) - Michael Thank you for taking the time to update us Micheal, It's nice to know that they are on their way now.

Nice! I am also trying to get as much EVGA in my main "Dream Rig" as possible :) So far I have an EVGA mobo, CPU Cooler and Graphics card. Still the things on my list (that are possible) EVGA Mousepad, Thermal Grease, Power Supply and thats all I can think of at this hour. Future EVGA products? *hint hint * Case, RAM, Keyboard, Mouse, SSD, CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Drive, Monitor. I want my dream PC to hold almost everything it can by EVGA :D
Mobo: EVGA P67 SLI CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K OC 4.0GHz (4.5GHz Gaming) RAM: 4x4 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz GPU: EVGA GTX470 CPU Cooler: EVGA SuperClocked Cooler HDD: Western Digital Black 1TB (Sata3) - Secondary: WD 320GB (Sata2) PSU: Corsair TX750W

I can't wait to see what these PSU's are like. Do we know what sizes will be available yet? I too do not need 1500W, especially given the efficiency of the new GPU's. I put a Seasonic X-1250 in my rig and when the Kepler's came out I knew it was huge overkill. Might consider trying to sell the Seasonic and hop on the EVGA bandwagon for PSU's too if this thing is half as beast as it looks. Can't wait to see the full line with pricing.

This PSU can become SINGLE RAIL!?!?! Just as I love. Because of that I love Seasonic/CORSAIR more than Enermax. Always insist on Gold/Single Rail one of first two, but now... What is with Fan...??? Fan is one very important thing in PSU. I love Sanyo Denki silent and performanse. This PSU need exspensive and long-term fan. Not ordinary like some exspensive Enermax.

Single rail provides no benefit versus multi-rail. Multi-rail provides the benefit of increased individual component protection, so no reason to go single rail.

As for performance differences well, there are none;)

im pretty sure I can use all 1650 watts to power a tec cascade im working on. single rail is the only way to get that. (other than buying the specialized 24volt ones.

Update: They're all on KingPin's bench as always, then we get them like a month later. Just like the Z77 FTW, he was benching it, then we all get to use it a month later...

It just stinks that when we are told that they are releasing this month (see my earlier quoted post) that this is not the case.

Well, looks like the trend continues with late/pushed back releases. Unless they pull some funny business in the next 3 hours. Still won't be July for me in the next 30 minutes, so still late.

An explanation would certainly be nice for everyone waiting. Thankfully I am mainly interested in updating for sleeved cables, digital design, and the overall aesthetics and how it will fit in my build rather than out of necessity. I feel for those whose builds are on hold for this power supply, especially since EVGA reps have been claiming it's just around the corner for months now.

This is exactly why they don't give exact dates and give estimates is because when ever something doesn't release on time everyone complains about it. They don't need to explain anything to you. You might as well just assume by the 3rd since that is when the giveaway ends.

I just added 2 evga 680 classifieds to my build for a total of 4! on on an Asus X79 rampage with a 3930X @ 4.8. Will the current SR-2 Classified do? or do I need someting bigger like the SuperNOVA? FYI.. . I'm using these for GPU rendering with Vray RT in 3DS MAX so they will run at 100% load. Thanks!
