EVGA did right by me on the return. So unless they miraculously start making excellent Mobo's again like they did when they could go by an nVidia reference model; I will not be getting another EVGA mobo. However I will keep getting their video cards and power supplies. :)

gbak02 did anyone upgrade bios, using windows 8 OS ? Yes. You need to do it from an elevated permission command line instance.

I just played around in the BIOS and figured out a solution that works. Instead of changing the cpu ratio under MANUAL, I just changed my multiplier under the E-LEET Tuning option. Changed my cpu clock to 4.1GHz and dropped the vcore to 1.15, saved, restarted, and everything works. I love the looks of the board and it does do pretty much all I need it too; it's just picky on how you do it. Love all the other EVGA products but the motherboards (BIOS mainly) need a lot of work. I have to be honest though, if the ASUS mini-itx board had a red/black color scheme, I would've bought that instead.

Others have provided full instructions further back in this very thread as well as the BIOS release announcement thread.

So the Stinger looks to be a problematic motherboard or a problematic BIOS, that's a real shame as i was looking forwards to building my first ITX system. Will evga be releasing a Version 2 of this board with all issues fixed?

I was excited about evga mini itx but all i read is bad things Hate to say it, but it might be worth it to hold off on the Stinger till the bugs are worked out. Mine overall will not OC at all, but at least it is running stable when it does work. Thou one wrong setting in the BIOS and you got to start all over on the settings.
