I was almost there with you man. But as I was giving up on getting a chance to order one...I got THE email notification at 8pm! I quickly clicked the link and must've been typing 1000 wpm...ON my smartphone! Still can't believe I was lucky enough to order one...it's like winning the lotto. Now all I can do is wait by the door for the men in brown...

I had the notification set to SMS my phone. Despite that, I've missed two previous occasions. IMHO it'd be really nice if once you've gotten to the payment information page, that you'd get a few minutes to actually enter it before they release it again...

Although I'm very jealous, I'm glad someone was able to get one. Let us know when it actually comes in for you.

Finally pulled the trigger and went with X79 after debating for a week: CPU: Core I7 3960x Memory: 32 GB RAM (Corsair 2133mhz) PSU: Corsair AX1200 Motherboard : Asus Rampage IV Extreme Case: Corsair 800D Cooling: Corsair h100 HDD: 2x Crucial 256GB m4 But... no video as I can't find these bad boys any where! :( Any ETA? Looks like every online retailer is out of stuck with the exception of ebay, and there's no way i'm paying $2,000 for a single 690.

Been lurking her since May 3, and I got mine too via Page Monitor on a 20 sec check interval. I wasn't going to do Sig, but with this availability, I don't think I can be picky. I'm a little miffed that newegg is was back to showing $1.2k, and they don't even have any in stock. edit: now newegg is back to $999.99

I was able to snag my 690 at a local store that happened to have one coming in that day the same day I called that wasn't spoken for. Pretty lucky since they're apparently only getting one per month. The card is great except I've having issues with my system not shutting down properly or waking up my monitors from sleep. Apparently others are having this issue too, hopefully they'll release a fix soon.

Ya I am 12th in line at NCIX.com and they are getting 2 per week it seems so that would mean I have to wait till the end of June to get mine. Hopefully they start producing more.

The thing I don't understand is what's actually taking so long to create these cards? I've worked in product manufacturing and I don't see what the hold up is: Shipping? Manufacturing? What? If there's a problem keeping the card in stock then put a hold on selling the card until you can stock back up. At least then you can give an approximation of when you will have new stock coming in and enough to distribute properly. Also, you would think with the demand that this card is in EVGA would at least let us order them on their site and put us in a queue system. That way EVGA knows just how many they still need on their end to ship out. And we're still granted a card even though we'd have to wait. At this rate I'm not even sure I'll be able to get one.

You've probably already done this, but you might want to install the latest drivers and see if that helps with your issue. They just released one today.

Now imagine the Hydro Copper waterblock would cost around $169.99 - $189.99!!! http://www.techpowerup.co...X-690-Water-Block.html Nice. Not bad. Jacob no ETA on the hydrocopper blocks? Really getting antsy not being able to overclock my 690...

Another month. I don't for see waterblocks on these giving any incredible overclocks. The heatsink is pretty nice already. What I do see is having a graphics card that is really very quiet on water. These cards won't tax a water system like older cards, so you can run you pumps lower and fans slower. We will see but that is my thoughts on waterblocks.

has nothign to do with giving me incredible overclocks. I dont have good air cooling at the top of my case, as everything is water cooled. So at stock the 690 gtx hits 75 degrees. which the entire 600 series lineup has been known to start throttling at 70 degrees or higher. So I am just waiting to throw this underwater before I try to overclock anything.

This card is going to make the Z77 cheaper MB's out there so appetizing for non-overclockers. 16 lanes on one slot. Much cheaper competition MB's than EVGA FTW Z77 (OC'ing is not the issue here). I suggest EVGA rethink the Z77 strategy with this GTX 690 release. I mean, how many people are thinking ASUS all the way on this line of sight. If the EVGA Z77 would be ready to be released now, the GTX 690 bundled with it would deter scalpers as well. I hate em scalpers I am not attempting for EVGA to release any product sooner then it should, I am just looking at strategy. When it comes to EVGA, I am hooked but look at all options on the table.

I went to check out and they told me my credit card was wrong. Funny, worked yesterday. Then the item was removed because it's out of stock. This is crap. EVGA should just let us place our orders and send the cards out as they can. This F5ing crap is ridiculous.
