Clean TIM from the underside of the CPU Wednesday, May 02, 2012 8:23 AM (permalink)
I purchased an extra CPU (Xeon 5130) to add as a second CPU to our aging Dell PowerEdge 2900 Servers. After receiving the CPU in the mail it had TIM on the underside of the CPU. Is it possible to clean this this off with something without damaging it?

We purchased 3 for $17 so I guess this is what I get...
