3 - Way SLI question Monday, April 30, 2012 9:55 PM (permalink)
Earlier today I ordered two GTX 680 Signature editions.
Just found a GTX 680 SC.
My question is can I 3-way SLI two of one card and one of another or do they need to be all the same? (sounds like a Noob question but I want to make sure before I drop $550+ on another card)
Main Board is an Asus X79 which is supposed to support PCIe 3.0 at 16x/16x/8x

They do not have to be the same.

      Thanks Jacob.

One more question while I'm at the keyboard.
I ordered 3 BenQ XL2420 to do 3D triple monitor rig.
How to hook them up to an SLI setup??
Prefer DVI but I see the BenQ's have DisplayPort also.
      Recommendations??
