It's basically luck of the draw. You're paying for binning. IMHO, it's worth it just to risk the luck of the draw.

The prices bounce around. I bought my three several weeks ago for $280 a piece.

So I bought one of those 289.99 ones, and then when I got it all hooked up was slammed with the same issue as in this picture. Could it be a bad DVI cable or is this a brick? Guy had the problem over at OCN as well with no replies to help him, so thought I would ask here first. EDIT: Can't post link, anyway windows loading screen background is red while windows icons still show color just red tint. My desktop colors are red, while white is just a tinted red. If you look on page 515 on OCN's member club for the Yamakasi it's the same problem as shown there.

I saw that, and I have no idea. Very strange. I'd try another cable as well as another DVI port on your card if you have one. What card are you running?

Vanilla EVGA Gtx 670, tryed both ports. Sadly don't have another DVI cable, going to order one Friday and hopefully it will work. VGA to DVI adapters didn't seem to work, neither did my DVI HDMI cable.

If your getting a picture no matter how bad it looks it's almost 100% the cable. Where are you located? If your close to CT I have multiple cables you could pick up.

Not sure if it could also be a loose cable within the monitor itself as people have had those (not necessarily with the same problem you're having though). But yes, I'd change out the DVI cables first and see what happens.

It was the cable actually, took me this long to get one from an online retailer. Only 1 little stuck pixel, but it's just like others have said, so tiny can't even tell it's there unless you try really hard.

Does it really make THAT much of a difference being 120Hz? They cost A LOT more then the standard version and most cards would barely be able to run 120Hz at that resolution...

Doesn't matter that the cards can run at 120FPS. The screen just looks smoother, even if your not at 120FPS. I have seen many people say they won't ever go back to 60Hz monitors, and those who try, go back to 120Hz. Unless said person is going from single 120Hz to Surround 60Hz.

Looking into the refresh rate stuff, as well as the latest BETA drivers only allowing 80Hz. Booya! Let us know how that goes. I'm stuck on WHQL because I don't want to lose my awesome refresh rate. Also, is 100 hz with SLI a driver limitation or hardware limitation you think? Would totally get another 670 if I could push 120hz.

Not sure why there's also a picture of an electric shaver on the first page's amazon link. Does it come with? Do I need a shave that badly after playing games?

I purchased mine from Bigclothcraft as I saw a good number of others had with a positive experience. I emailed a couple of questions and they responded immediately. Overall I am impressed so far. I anticipate delivery on Tuesday or thereabouts.

Makes me wonder what these screens actually go for in Korea. People wouldn't be doing gray-market sales like this unless there were money to be made.

From my understanding, they use a power brick, but you can use a standard 3 prong cable (think standard monitor cable/psu cable) with the brick. I believe they usually ship with a non-us standard plug that plugs into the power brick.
