Dynamic background. Is it normal when you check scanner for it to not work? Only seems to work if scanner is unchecked?

When I run the benchmark it opens a black window and nothing happens. I've had the same issue on the previous versions too. Could this be related to any of the settings in nvidia control panel?

FattysGoneWild Dynamic background. Is it normal when you check scanner for it to not work? Only seems to work if scanner is unchecked? Dynamic background is... static (like the E logo) when the artifact scanner is enabled.

Could this be related to any of the settings in nvidia control panel? Same here, although this is the first version I've tried. I run the test, a black window comes up that does nothing & stops responding. Global 3D settings in nVidia control panel are all default.

I get the same black EVGA OC Scanner (Not Responding) window when clicking on either Start Stress Test or Start Benchmark.

Core clock readings are incorrect for EVGA GTX 580 (vanilla)... Also not a very good scanner, as the more i increase clocks the less VDDC power/current the card uses during scanning so whats the point ? The card actually overclocked to 940mhz later, temps stayed the same and never showed any errors which is wrong. (Heaven Benchmark crashed after 5 seconds at 940mhz) Also tried OCCT's scanner which used twice as much power at lower clocks and reached 80c at 872mhz giving me a real world gaming scenario. Hope you sort out the bugs, was looking forward to this.

Same problem as mentioned above. Click start stress test / start benchmark. Nothing happens, screen stays blank (black) and program freezes (Not Responding). Any solutions? Never had this issue with non-X versions of OC Scanner.

I have read elsewhere that bitdefender was causing the conflict. Those with the black screens may be using bitdefender?

My issue was Bitdefender. This resolved it for me. hi_im_ping Total Posts : 2 Reward points : 0 Joined: 5/6/2012 Re:Issues with OC Scanner - Wednesday, May 16, 2012 9:20 AM If anyone still has this problem, I thought I'd share what I know since it doesn't seem anyone's discussed a solution other than uninstalling BitDefender. It's as simple as going into BitDefender, Settings, AntiVirus, Exclusions, Processes, go to the directory EVGA OC Scanner is in, and adding an exclusion for it.
