No offense to anyone who ordered from a 3rd party, but I would hate to think that they get their boards before those of us who pre-ordered with EVGA directly when they were available (aka, prior to "Notify me"). Same time, sure, fine with that. But later, well that's a problem that levels a finger pointed at EVGA.

I anticipate the hold up is that they have the boards in hand right now, and are sorting them into pre-orders, allocating them to groups that were sold to online retailers like performance-pcs, etc... trying to figure out how many they have left to sell on their online store. Chances are they will all ship out at the same time (pre-orders, online orders, and people who bought in this first batch from other retailers.) Could be wrong though, just a guess.

This sounds logical. Logic is good. I hope this is the case. I know, I'm impatient. No different than the rest I guess.

Lame...... I finally ordered a 3770k from the Egg, but still have to wait for this board :S....
 
Altho I still need to wait for 680 FTW 4gb's to get in stock as well...

Matt is there any chance the board hits the Step Up list within a week from release (someday next week)?

Any comment on why? I know it doesn't really matter... but leaving it to speculation by the impatient public is often worse than giving us the real reason these are being repeatedly delayed...

Seriously. I'm beginning to wonder if we are being strung along just to keep us from immediately jumping ship to a competitor. I'll bet a lot of people would have just picked up an Asus/Gigabyte a month ago if they knew they had to wait a month, instead of just a few more days... and then a few more... and then a few more...
 
It's a good thing I have a lot of case modding to do, but I'd love to get my machine going, at least on a bench...

For those wondering, Performance-pcs now shows the motherboards out of stock... so at least they are accounting for a certain number made available to them, and not just 'open season' promising motherboards to people, without any idea of how many they will have. 
 
No word or shipment update on the order I placed earlier today, though. Considering they said it was shipping direct from EVGA, and Matthew posted earlier that no shipments are happening today, I'm not holding my breath on this one. 

I'm still a month away from buying for my new build, I hope these are readily available by then!
 
On a side note, seeing as this will probably be a highly sought after product, I wonder if I should go ahead and snatch one up if I see one available between when its released and when I plan to build? Will the RMA still work 30 days after ourchase in the event that is a while before I can get everyhting togther?

So I ordered from performance-pcs as soon as they popped up on the product page amidst my auto-refresh.
 
I got a shipping notice about and hour later with tracking number.
 
Several hours after this afternoon, my tracking number had an update saying that the shipment was actually accepted at USPS, rather than just the electronic shipping info received.

Yeah I ordered mine this morning as well and usps website says it guaranteed at my house tomorrow June 2. If the boards are NOT shipping out today from EVGA this doesn't make sense.

Looks like ill order from performance then if they are truly shipping already.  I sold my 2500k and need a new mobo now that will be on par with my 3570k if I elect to stick with 1155 .

AFAIK, the RMA is for 3 years, not 30 days... so you should be covered in the event that there is a defect. All you need to do is register the product within 90 days of purchase I think. The return policy, on the other hand, may be only for 30 days... not sure about that.

It doesn't make sense because it isn't true.

I'm guessing these boards will not show up until after computex, so I guess we are looking at the 8th or later.

For those interested, I went strait to the source and got some actual answers. I asked Performance-PCS when I could expect my tracking info, and they indicated the following:
 
"We are copying our Rep on this as they just told us that due to end of month inventory shipments would not go out until Monday. You can confirm with Jacob this is the case and we were unaware of this as of yesterday. Sorry for the delay."
 
They then proceeded to give me EVGA_JacobF's email address. 
 
I spoke with Jacob and asked when we might expect to see shipments happen, and here was his response:

Hi,
 
Originally we had planned to ship today, but something came up at the last minute and we were unable to unfortunately.
 
Our plan is to ship on Monday for PPC orders as well as EVGA preorders and EVGA.com.

So there you have it. Looks like EVGA was too busy doing end-of-the-month inventory to ship these out, and the shipment got delayed until monday. I personally would have been much more satisfied if they came right out and said so. At least it does not appear to be due to issues with the boards or anyting... more of a logistics issue. Get your coffee and auto-refreshing browsers ready, monday will be here soon.

I ran out of coffee, and my f5 key fell of waiting these past two weeks for the board. Auto refresh is also busted due to browser not being able to handle too many diff. settings at once. 

Goody now I have a reason to get one of these. Updated bios and now my system will no longer boot. Hope we get a release Monday

That might be the reason EVGA_MatthewH said he would Check in next week because he will be at computex with a live launch and a OC session

Soooo... Monday June 4th is official Z77 FTW release date?? That's what I'm seeing at least... Hopefully I won't be lied to a 3rd time. You know the golden rule... three strikes and you're out!
