Yeah I get that bit, what I don't get is how you're relating that to going to hospital? Why would you pay if you're sent to A&E or have to go into the ICU?

Not exactly, more in reference to surgery...if they know it's going to cost a lot, sometimes they will verify that you can pay for it up front.  They will not refuse to treat you generally speaking, but they will stick you with as many bills as possible and your only real option is to lawyer up, negotiate, and pay.  My brother was in a horrific car accident(not his fault) and his insurance didn't cover everything...he's got nearly 3/4 of a million USD in bills(after insurance), but the alternative was him dieing.

My lord, I love not living in USA...
In Europe, even if you don't have enough money to pay your tought-past, nobody let you dying in hospital.
 
Of course you're not in first class room with caviare and champagne, but we take care of you.
 
Bad point is that, when you purchase something, you pay around 20% in VAT ...

I can't wait to purchase this damn board here when it comes out, with no tax of course ;D

Man, ****? According to Matt, we should have expected them to ship the boards out to us today. This is f'd up...... 2 months behind the pack in getting the z77 out, and still nothing. Let me guess, "looks like it will be next week". This is a bunch of crap. Even if the boards get online today, which it doesnt look like they will, they will not ship out today. It is 7 est so 4 pst. Great job EVGA. Way to treat your hardcore fans.
 
A simple update would be sufficient just to let us know what the heck is going on. But lack of that means the HC EVGA Fans mean nothing to EVGA

I'm also getting sincerely annoyed that I can't get it for my build this weekend, even if it does release tonight.  I was really looking forward to opting for overnight shipping and building it all this weekend..

I know what you mean. A simple update would calm me down, but there is not even that courtesy to us.

I would not expect them to sell out immediately, we have a reasonable QTY. 
  
Right now the latest BIOS's are being flashed, we expect to start shipping tomorrow.

Oh god don't get me started on living in the UK and the cost of things! You'll pay $330 for the Z77 FTW (which converts into £214 GBP) However we will have to pay approx £250 before tax ($385) it sucks!

OK I will update my stance... if Z77 FTW doesn't come out by tomorrow night (Friday), I am ordering the P8Z77 Deluxe... a few bucks cheaper too. End of story!

Kinda sucks that none of the EVGA guys care to explain what the hold up is, or at least an update.
I understand that they do not have to do this, but they did say today would be the day, so it kinda leaves you hanging..
I purposely held off buying any Z77 board because I was waiting for this to come out.

So answer this. Why on earth would Matt say "we WILL be shipping them out today"? I have put off getting this bad ass chipset for one reason. Because of the FTW. But to wait this long and still have nothing is a major let down. Being told next week over and over is a slap to the face.
