Why? Some people look forward to a game, so they buy it when it comes out. Do you laugh at people who go to the movie theater instead of waiting for it on TV?

Arma 2 is free now right?

Yes, the multiplayer is free, but without the HD textures. Also, the campaign and the ability to install user created mods is not available with the free version.

bought this game yesterday...I activated it on Origin, and it wont play. Nothing happens when I run the exe file. Bummer
