What up guys. I have a pretty cool idea for the next thing I wanna do. at the moment I dont have pics but Ill show you soon.
 
My work is moving into a new building and we are getting rid of some things. One of them is a cart...and after looking at it for a moment I had a great idea. Ill try and explain it, the cart is about 3 feet tall and is like "two stories". I have a Pentium D CPU on hand and was thinking what if I built a Emulator PC and use acrylic plastic to build around the cart to make it look like an arcade machine? I was thinking about going with the AMD cpus that are the FM1 sockets and have built in graphics...but Im trying to spend the least amount of money on this. So Ill use the Pentium D.
though, would this motherboard work with it? Im pretty sure that it will fit into any 775 socket board gut just wanna make sure.
 
for the top of the cart, it will house the screen, and the bottom half of the cart will house the computer parts. Thinking about making it have a dual boot too. One of Ubuntu linux and the other win7 but create a script of some sort to automatically run the emulator.

can't help you with the hardware questions.... but that sounds like a cool idea... maybe get clear acrylic and print out some old gaming graphics to put in behind and give it that arcady look...
