come here and your not even a team member asking for someone to fold for ya
 
1. You are not a team member
2. you are asking for a favor  what does the team get in return? (have you offered an alternative gift/favor to the team or to anyone that does?)
3. Are you are doing it for a prize (and might be cheating a contest...not something anyone here would be in favor of)
4. If it was for a good cause - and not personal gain it be easier 

Heck, I'll give it a thought. Might just get a 'bug' into someone that would otherwise not develop.

Im already helping my NvidiaU2U team out (just to keep my postion and help out the team a little- and foster new members there and possibly bring them here)

 
however this could open floodgates of members from every team asking for people to fold for them (playing us as suckers too)
and in return they do nothing for us - other than steal our production...imagine if it turns into 100's or 1000's per month
 
also imagine making multiple accounts(10 from each member) - fold a few GPU units  then send out posts/letters to other teams  (as an organized attempt to steal PPD from multiple teams to inflate their teams PPD) saying they need help
 
This can happen...they see we will help out any person that posts a sob story - we get flooded with them and production goes down
 
what we have here is someone who hasn't folded for any length of time - yet asks for someone to help him
even tho he shows no interest in production (or can't produce) and there will probably be no guarantee he/she comes here or that any production will be forthcoming here or elsewhere

this currently hasn't been the only one Ive seen lately - we had an earlier one requesting the same thing I recall(different user)
I don't believe it will really help the team all that much...but it's worth a shot
 
PS: Also of Note - it will place him in the top 20 of the team by doing so - not fair to the other 18000 people there
 
              
 

Its team jiggamin, they hold some sort of contest where you get virtual prizes for folding a set number of points.  They come asking for help on setting up [link=mailto:F@H]F@H[/link] on FF all the time
 
I'm not sure what the story is as they all seem to only fold uni proc and only last a few months.  Rules must be fairly strict though - your average gaming rig could get 100k in a couple of weeks and for a multi proc machine the points could be had in a day or so
