Granted, it is getting better with Diablo retailing for $69 instead of the usual $99 and Max Payne 3 for $79 instead of the usual $99-$109.

All in all im sick of the unavailability of these cards, let alone the LACK OF in australia of any kind of decent graphics card.

The only decent 680 we got here in aus, is the 680 SC Signature.. I can gaurantee we wont get the classified or the 680 FTW 4gb version either.

I do understand your frustration though.  I have family in parts of Europe that just can't get their hands on the same selection of hardware us here in North America take for granted.

My last email with them was they were going to get the cards in by end of the week, last week. But they never got back to me.
I am going to pop them an email tomorrow just to follow up.

+1 sign me up. Im sick of seeing cards in the US for 600 then seeing them here for 800 when the exchange rate should have me paying 598 at the moment, complete BS.

Last time they got back to me (2 days ago) they said the cards had not yet arrived to them and they were expecting them this coming week now.
I've got the $545 here waiting to buy one!

They shouldn't be requiring it. It's beneficial should something go astray, but it is always an option, not a requirement.
At the end of the day, if the package goes missing and you didn't take insurance, then they are not liable.

thats the risk this company didnt want to take. from what i gather due the expensive nature (over a certain ocst) they basically demanded insurance. it was only $30 over the top so its wasnt too bad. better than what we get charged here in Aus.

$699 for the Classified due to the very limited stock, $99 for Evbot & rest was delivery & insurance. Total approx $870
