                So if the computer does NOT meet the proper benchmarking standards then what would happen? Would a bunch of angry birds show up and start dive bombing the poor sap who's computer sucks?

                      What Rovio did makes no sense. I mean sure they can refocus what they do there, but who will really benefit from this? I mean do they really need a program that showcases low end tech and figure out how many instances of it that can run on a PC platform?

                          futuremark's games are quite different than the usual if you look at what they have made, they made a 3d axis FPS IN SPACE, and a turret defense game without "rails", you can change how that battlefield works. both games are fun, i just wish shattered horizon still had people playing it

                            The games studio was a different part of the company that's been sold, not futuremark itself >_>
                             
                            It's unfortunate because they've now cancelled the "sequel" to shattered horizon... :'(
