New Set-Up
Wednesday, March 21, 2012 4:46 PM
( permalink)
I recently got me some KRK Rokit 8 G2's. And then got this desk, to hold all my crap. Yeah my rig looks like crap, but it sure kicks butt. And I am always working on it, so I don't see the point of having a nice case lol. But let me say this, with the volume at 7 out of 100, it will shake the windows, walls, floor, and rattle the keys in the keyboard! I played BF3 on 15 volume last night, and while in a jet, the whole house would rumble when I used afterburners! No sir. Fanless at the moment. I'm waiting for my AP-13's to arrive. But temps are still cool enough. CPU idle is 29c, load is 58c. 480 idle is 38c, and load is 55c. With fans, the load temps are around 48c.

Mine looks completely clear with only a few bubbles at the top of the res which do not look to out of place. Weren't you getting an MM or DD case? Can't remember what exactly.

Lol went up to 5 drops or so for fun. Looks cool, it's all white now. And yeah, getting a DD Torture Rack. It supposedly takes like 15 days to ship, since they're gonna etch my username and the EVGA logo into it.

I have a 240 going into a 360....seems to work though i've not tried it without one or the other. I could turn all the fans on the 240 off though...hmm....

Thanks guys! And there's no problem with that. Really a loop doesn't matter what order it's in. As long as the fill-port is at the top. Which usually will be your resi. The loop always should have the resi, then pump (Sucking from resi), then after that, it doesn't really matter.

Heh, I don't really know haha. I got tired of cases, sense I literally swap stuff so much. So then that's when I took it outta the case, and decide a Torture Rack would suit my needs.

RushXTC That's a sweet set up dude, How do those speakers sound? Do they give clean bass? How strong are they? I've been looking for something to shake up at least my whole room lol. Thanks, and haha yeah. Same here, I wanted some kick butt enough to rock my room even without a sub. And these do just that. They can hit 50hz beats like no prob. But yeah, it's VERY clean, nothing muddy or anything. On Lollipop by Lil Wayne, my walls, window, and keys in the keyboard shakes when Windows volume is 7 out of 100 haha. And BF3, well just get get ready for a good time. I've ALWAYS preferred headphones while gaming, cuz the gun shots sound so much crisper, but now these sound way better than my headphones lol. The gunshots actually make that "cracking" noise like in real life now. letterkilled what do you use to cut your tubing Scissors. My mom bought them from somewhere, and they're really nice. Nearly like medical scissors. I will upload a video soon using them to cut the tubing.
