Redneck case cooling.
Length of "Litter Locker" bag + tape + time + boredom = this
This is what happens when I get four days off of work:

Ohhhh yeah.

You know, I just kind of wanted to see what it would be like. Man, those temps are awesome.
I should mention that I did run a CPU stress test on all 8 threads, and temps peaked at about 59c (typically they will peak at about 76c)

And no, I am not leaving it like this. Unless I get a blue ribbon

      LOL love it!

I've done stuff like that with watercooling! ROFL.

Hmm, I bet it'd really cool amazing if you put the exit right inside of the case. Cuz how you have it, I bet some escapes around the front of the case.

But awesome idea. I have done a thing like that, and it's so fun haha.

Nothing says "There I fixed it" like the roll of tape still sitting on the desk next to it.

I understand, that's why I pulled the end of it about 7 inches from the front intakes.

Also, I only had it like this for about a half an hour, as it looks ridiculous and my wife would kill me if she found out I wasted 8 feet of litter locker refill for that.

I think the idea mostly came from the fact that my rig (without this ridiculous contraption) folds SMP6 + SLI 460s at around 75c (CPU and GPUs) maximum, and boy does that heat the room up. So when I'm at work or sleeping and its as warm as it has been recently, I'll leave the A/C on economy mode [without this redneckery] to cool the room (and the PC) down a bit.

An AC removes moisture from the air but the air leaving the cooling coils actually has higher relative humidity than the air entering the cooling coil.

Once it enters the room and warms up a bit its relative humidity drops. The net effect is to reduce the relative humidity of the room.

Only if you live in the desert is it likely that the AC will cool the air without removing any moisture.
In short make sure you bring the room down to temp before hooking your cooling system up to your rig , then you wont have worry, by the way theres more humidity in the room before you cool it then you could possibly dump into your rig..

Yes, yes, everyone. I understand how the AC can create moisture.

                                        Let's break it down:

                                        1) Condensation only occurred at about the first 2 feet of "tubing"
                                        2) Condensation is why I pulled the end of it about 6-7 inches away from the intakes
                                        3) It was a very, very brief experiment
                                        4) The room isn't that big, in all reality if I turn the air conditioner on in here it's a definite improvement to temps all around, obviously

rofl awesome, thats the same exact model window A/C and computer case I have too,

just becareful of condensation though. constant A/C air into the system could do that.
