Precision issue...

Precision issue... Saturday, March 10, 2012 10:32 AM (permalink)
When using the precision application, if you log out and back in the fan stays at 40. This causes the card to overheat and shut down... like just happened to me.. Can you get unwinder to fix this EVGA? I would hate to see an RMA because of this issue.

    To make sure it is not an issue with the install uninstall Precision then reload the drivers with the clean install option enabled under Custom after the drivers uncompress as Precision works with the drivers.
     
    Post back the results.

      I have tried this before and still have issues. It seems to be random, during my last computer start the precision software didn't even start up... even though I have "start with Windows" checked.
