Graphics "Stuttering"

Hey All! I guess the best way to describe my problem is a "stuttering" of the gameplay during BF3 last night. All of the drives are up to date and temps are good. The only thing I could think that would be a problem is my daughter was on her laptop and using up some of the Internet bandwidth. Is that a good guess??? This morning "NO" stuttering or lag and fraps is displaying 60-100 fps. Thanks!
