This is what I have in mind for fittings as well...when I need angled connectors at least:

The fans you choose with the RX series rads by XSPC do matter. In their product description they say the rads are sub 8 fpi that work best with low rpm fans. I tried this as I was trying to make a super silent pc but my temps were too high for my liking. I switched to higher rpm and more cfm fans and that brought my temps down by 10 or so degrees.

Just a quick update, I'm going to be getting the XSPC RX360 rad, and the AP-15 push/pull (if they ever come in stock anywhere) which gives me 5mm clearance with the NZXT Switch 810 case.  I was going to use my enermax T.B. Silence, but I will instead be using those within the case where other fans can be mounted.  That 5mm clearance (90mm between top and MB) should be enough if I feed the 8-pin cable before I install the rad.
Will update as more goes on.

Just snagged 6 Scythe Gentle Typhoons (AP-15) for my push/pull setup.

if your going to sleep with your computer on and its inside your room, i do not recommend the Gentle Typhoons.
 
they have a motor tick/low hum sound to them when undervolted. the only time you cant hear it is when the air turbulance drowns it out.
i use noctua's P12 fans for my xspc 360. at ~600 rpm, the fans are pretty much silent. i can barely barely hear them 6 feet away. but at ~900 rpm, the air turbulance sound is quite a bit more then the gentle typhoons at ~900 rpm.

I put my computer to sleep at night unless I'm doing a download or some sort of work.  And now that I'm getting an SSD, my pc will shut down in 5 seconds or so.  But either way, thanks for the suggestion.  I am also a heavy sleeper haha (I sleep through the iphone alarm tone)

Hey guys, what do you think I could possibly sell both of my 260's for?  I found a listing on ebay for barely used GTX 580 Classified Hydro Copper for $450, which sounds like a good deal to me?

 my temps were 30-34 idl 45-51 load, with a 920 @3.3ghz ht on a TC.4 120mm radiator. I have a puch pull setup, but it would be better to go with a low fin per inch radiator with fans set up to pull air, so that it would be easer to clean the radiator. Also get a good pump like the 655, or something that has a high gph. and as far as mounting putting it out side your case will help reduce your temps by quite a bit.

good choice, i havent sold my 260's yet and i wish i did a long time ago. they are still water cooled, something else that was a bad call on my behalf.... but at least it looks sick. :D

I was just wondering whether the 90 degree fittings (the red circled areas in picture) were in bad locations/do I have too many?  The one I'm worried about is a 90 degree coming right off the pump.

i like to go res>>pump>>cpu>>gpu>>rad. thats how most of my systems are built.

the 90 degrees will be fine, i do that on my build right now also.

Is the CPU first because we want that cooled the most, so we give that the cooled liquid first?

Normally yes.  But it will only yield a 2-3ish degree difference.  Not that big of a deal either way.

Ok, so either way would be alright.  I'll probably go CPU first just to save some degrees anyway.  Also, I am going to be using distilled water + kill coil inside the loop, but I'm a little confused on the kill coil.  Do I put that in the res. or do I put it inside the tubing?

Alright, well all I have left to get is a rad.  I just need to wait for some $$ (got a little carried away on my upgrade haha).

Thanks, I appreciate it.  I'm going to wait until april (or try to haha) to buy the radiator.  It's about $100 everywhere, and I have $94 ebay bucks pending that are due to me in april, so I am going to wait until then for that.
 
I have to order some more fittings, and I'm waiting to see if Monsoon releases angled sets soon.  Would you guys go for a 6 pack of reds as well, to mix with my white fittings, or just another set of white?
My color scheme I'm going for is red/white/black.  I have red/white cables coming in sleeved from EliteGeek on these forums, and I'm planning on getting whatever MB succeeds the Asus Maximus Extreme-Z

white fittings on white hose will be BOSS. dont do the red, i think it might look a little goofy.
