All I see are a few random CAD renders thrown together. Must be way early in the design process.

bhk1004 1000w feels a bit low... and 1500 seems just over board... i love my 1200w psu... where is it? lol Considering 1000W is more than enough to run 90% of enthusiasts systems, I wouldn't really call it low. It does seem like a big hole in the line-up though, but then again if you actually need over 1000W, then why not just go nuts and get the big dawg 1500W unit.

Now those look awesome :O The handle seems like a nice touch on the 1500 but i hope its removable. not many people want that sticking out of their case... but a few would like it. lol. Since my cases power supply is on the bottom i think i would use it to hold my wires. Lol have a "NEX PSU in my NZXT case. xD

price them competively and many many many will buy i think they will charge 10-20 bucks over competitors so when others are on sale they will be big gap. but we will see

Or is it like a multi-rail to single rail switch that keeps popping up from time to time in different PSU's? I'm very interested. Can you tell us who the OEM is? Can we please get a close-up shot of the spec label?

The visual of the 1500 makes me think of some "alternative" workout equipment some meathead might try to use. That is one beefy looking handle on it. ^_^;

EVGA_JacobF There are A LOT of never before seen features for PSU's, like enthusiast software bundle, a unique cable design and OC mode + more. More details soon. http://twitpic.com/85oto3 As long as it includes the ability to read the power and/or amperage draw from each voltage, that would be nice. Then we can end the debate about power consumption, at least until we settle on what "full load" means. I don't particularly care about PSU fan RPM or PSU temps, but if that's all it does then I'll move along...

So is it gonna have a internal connection to the computer like a USB or what? That way it can be tweaked with software? :o

@ Lehpron Right there with ya, a means of accurately monitoring current load, as well as voltage fluctuation live within windows would be a big step forward IMHO.

burning_kittins So is it gonna have a internal connection to the computer like a USB or what? That way it can be tweaked with software? :o While I'd prefer something like a 5.25" optical bay controller with an LCD display, it will be cheaper for EVGA to just make an add-on to their current lineup of software, like Precision. I just hope it isn't PSU fan control or PSU temperature readout. I'd be more interested in what the system consumes prior to wall outlet. Any cheap Kill-o-Watt can do the external stuff, for internal we'd need a potentiometer-- be nice if it was built into the PSU...

Looks like the market place is ganna be flooded with high end PSU's for quite some time after these are released I know ill be selling my AX1200-Brand new and not in use and give my g/f's computer my other AX1200 and sell her AX850 If these New EVGA PSU have the ability to dual boot via a smart link cable I might **** myself and buy no other PSU again. although a 1500w might be just enough for me to use a single unit for my computers massave power needs. Who think the 1500w will be tailored to run the SR-X by its self? I DO
