Very nice guys!  I am liking the input that I am getting here.  Well, I am starting to narrow down to what I am wanting to get.  I am for sure going to be buying a mechanical but have decided that back lighting will not be a deciding factor.  I have made it this long without back lit keys.  I have no need for macro keys but I am sure I would enjoy having them.  Have any of you given the Corsair k60 a shot?  That one has the Cherry reds and that is what I would prefer but have no local stores that carry it to try it out.

 
K60 is not full mechanical. F1-F12, Esc, and Insert, Home, Page Up, etc are dome.

The Tt e-SPORTS Meka G uses Cherry Black mechanical keys.  Here is a link to it.  Like I said earlier, it is not full back lit, just the WASD and Arrow keys.

Boo for only WASD...... I prefer full backlit myself, and the WASD doesnt work for everyone..... some of us have short stubby fingers, and use ASDX.

I dont think the non mech F keys and Home Page up Page down etc would be a big deal, they are not keys you normally use.  Last time I use Home End Insert Delete P Up P Down for gaming was Mech 2 as they were the jumpjet controls.  Other than that havent touched them for anything except documents since.  And somehting that cuts a small corner like that might be a good way to save some money withOUT losing what you were getting it for.

I love my Lycosa, But i have  random lockups with it. Im looking into getting a Roccat Isku

Thats what I like about my Lycosa.  Only complaint with it is that randomly a key or 2 just stop working, unplug/replug and good to go.  Only happens like once a month though.

I use a Logitech G110 and I enjoy it.  It isn't too flashy though.

DAS keyboard, go try one out seriously. The feeling of those keyboards are amazing. If you find the click sound to loud you can get the silent version.

Merc stealth best keyboard for shooters that I've ever used.

I love my Sidewinder X4 if that helps. I have also heard only good things about Logitech stuff, so one of their keyboards should serve you very well.

Exact same thing happens to me! either random keys stop working, or it acts like im holding them down.

I've been using Logitech gaming keyboards for the last 6-7 years.  First, was the G15 Gaming keyboard when it first came out.. I have that one for nearly 5 years before it finally crapped out.. LED's starting doing random weird things, flashing, LCD stopped working.  But I got some really good use out of it through all those years.  I now have a Logitech G510.  I really love it as well.. Basically the same thing as my old G15, but has a few more added options here and there.. I was thinking about getting the G19, but I could not justify paying the extra money for a larger full-color LCD.  The LCD on my G510 does everything I need and use it for..  I've used Razer KB's before, but I never actually bought one myself.  Always been using Logitech gaming KB's.  Nothing against Razer products at all, as they are pretty nice as well.. just my preference.  :)

That's pretty much my same trend too (G15 to G510).

I have a Logitech G110 paired with a Logitech G9X. I love them both! The keyboard is simple and it works. Has 10 programmable buttons and its backlit. The mouse has adjustable weights, rugged grip and programmable buttons. The only drawback is the middle scroll wheel is a little hard to push down (not a deal breaker).

That's pretty much my same trend too (G15 to G510).

My first "gaming" keyoard was a Zboard with the exchangable faceplates, then I picked up a Logitech G510 when it was on sale and I love the thing!  The funny thing is that my favorite feature is the ability to shut off my widows key with a switch, lol.  I also have CoreTemp, EVGA precision, and a few other apps running on the LCD screen which I love having when I am benching and testing temps on the fly.
Ventrillo also works with it and I can see who is chatting on the LCD screen with my ping rate and shows who connects and disconnects from my server.

I still use my left hand, I just have to push the keyboard a bit to the left on my desk is all when playing

Well guys, I was able to try out the Razer Blackwidow Ult.  My buddy here at work said he had one at home and brought it in today.  I got to say that when I tried it out, I was impressed.  I know that a lot of people would disagree but it was something I could get my hands on and test.  When it comes to peripherals, I like to feel it before I buy.  It is the Cherry blue keys and didn't know how much I would like it or not.  After trying it out, I was happy with the performance.  Since I already have a Razer Death Adder mouse, it would match right up as well.  So with all that being said.  I think I finally found a keyboard I would be happy with.  Thanks again for your help everyone.

my other half looks at me like that for MOST everything lol.
I don't think there is a "best choice" or there would only be one.  Thats like best FPS, best rifle, best engine, best pizza toppings.  All subjective to the user. 
OP picked a very nice board, I know a few who have it, I think most listed here would have served you well.  Let us know what you think after your first long gaming binge.  Love the success stories that follow questions for this and that.

For the price of the keyboard, I expect it to be full mechanical. Even though keys are not used often it bugs me that they're rubber dome. After using my red switches for a week, typing on a normal keyboard or my Macbook is harder and takes more effort.

Agreed.  That is why I decided to put it off for a little while.  Luckily I only had to wait one day.  BTW, it went back up to the regular price the next day. 

Have you received it yet?  I also got one from NewEgg on Friday for 102.99.  I checked around an hour after I ordered it and it was back to 129.99 so I'm glad I pulled the trigger when I did.  Their warehouse is on my way home from work, so I did will call.  I have to say, I LOVE that keyboard.  I have been using a Tarantula for years but the A key gave up on me.  I'm sure some of the other keyboards mentioned might be better, but I am playing an MMO and the look/feel of the Black Widow is fantastic and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Just upgraded my logitech g15 to a g19, had a logitech 50% off coupon so got the g19 for 99.99. So far it has been a great keyboard love the different color selections this keyboard has.
