Alpha Dog SLI Afterburner OK... New receiver showed up today... We must have gotten a reject receiver first. Because this new one has stickers on it the other did not (Advertizing what it does) and WORKS!!! Woooo Whooooo!!! Now just waiting for the new shelf for the Center and we plan to veg out watching movies this weekend!!! Awesome, glad the new receiver works with no problems you mounting the center under the TV now? Ah man I missed this sorry about that... No. This time I decided I was tired of re-mounting the TV bracket and went back to the table top type stand it came with. So I mounted the Center Speaker up above the TV again. And I must say... We like the sound up above the TV a tad more than below. Of course we are angling it down just a little, just the opposite we would if it was under the TV where we would aim it up... Maybe it is is the size... It does have two 6 1/2" speakers in it and we wonder if it helps (It is significantly larger than most centers I have seen). As our old BOSE setup was under the TV for 10 ish years and sounded better under the TV than above.

I bet you'll never tell anyone that Bose is "High End" again. Lol. I bet you also now understand that more wattage does not equal more volume, but rather equals more control over your speakers for accurately reproducing what was recorded.

Not sure if it high end. In fact I do not think we have high end now, but it is a significant step up It was what we could afford at the time. And we needed less space used so it was perfect at the time. But now at this point in our lives we want what this system is delivering. Clear "Artist" written/intended reproduction instead of blurred sound.
