Nice. I've been thinking about getting a new receiver, but just can't afford it right now. I kind of have my heart set on a Denon though.

nice parts ! Ive been in love with my Paradigm 5.1 set since the day i bought them.Nothing better then cranking a quality system and speakers up and just taking it in .Maybe some day i will upgrade to 7.1 but TBH i cant really notice it now .Enjoy

Thanks folks  . We are pretty excited... So excited I decided this morning to replace the rest of the speakers and go all in and fresh... I added two pairs of these today so we can go 7.2 (Have two other small ones for up front)... This just means we now have four of the units below... The two towers above, the sub, Center channel and the Tweeters (Small units) on the outer edge up front... 10 Speakers in all... And yes... We are heavy Movie and music users. BTW... Not sure how many of you know this or even would notice... Even I am just now getting the info on this with all these upgrades... But on of the next waves for our TV's is called 4K video. And our new Onkyo is ready to go and processes at that if supplied the Video and such. This is basically 3840x2160 resolution with a peak of 4096x2160. So in a few years this will find it's way into more of the high end mainstream instead of being in just the Uber Elite... Here is one of the latest Projection units to be offered to do just that... Sony VPL-VW1000ES 4K SXRD Projector http://www.hometheater.co...es-4k-sxrd-projector-0 SO our next TV will not only be 3D without glasses it will have this 4K res....

Well........ Just like with anything else I do... I tend to go all in... This looks to be no different... Just ordered an AMP to run the Front two towers and the Center channel.... It is a 200W (Minimum not to be confused with rated) per channel amp called the Emotive XPA-3... http://www.emotiva.com/xpa3.shtm Should be here next Friday... It is my understanding that the Speakers my wife got me are Hi-fidelity and love true power, and that no receiver with today's tech can power them to their potential... The way I explained it to my wife... Think of when we buy a car and the deck is running all the speakers, then we add an AMP and the car sounds comes alive... That is all she needed to hear
