There have been a lot of inquiries lately about GTX460 SLI and, being an owner of several myself, I took interest in the latest product release. Turns out this V2 version isn't compatible with other 460's either. So we have four groups of GTX460 that aren't SLI compatible.
To use the table below for SLI pairing, just pick any
two products from
one of the columns. The part number does not have to be the same. You can not pick
two products from
two different columns (one per column) because they won't be compatible in SLI (according to EVGA):
EDIT: Suffixes like AR, KR, TR, ER, K1, etc do not matter when selecting SLI-compatible products. These codes relate to warranty (length, region) and bundles.
Hope this helps anyone looking for a second card to SLI... the GTX460 is still a very powerful beast.
