Whats the best way to fully stress 2 GTX 580's in SLI? I enabled the heavy option and ran the Tessy test at 1024x1024 windowed mode. This came close: 99% on GPU1 and 90% on GPU2. Thanks in advance.

Full screen + higher resolution works better for SLI.

If you are scanning for artifacts then yes, that is correct. It is comparing the next frame after the last looking for any artifacts, if the image was moving, then you would have artifacts being reported non stop.

Card: evga GTX 580 Superclocked 015-P3-1582-AR (single card, not SLI) BIOS/Firmware: evga 70.10.49.00.83 (fanspeed unlock from these forums) ASIC quality: 80.9% Drivers used: 290.53 beta 285.62 WHQL 280.26 WHQL (The issue seems to be independent of driver version.) Problem Summary: OC Scanner seems to power-throttle and cut frame-rate by 50% in the furry test at high resolutions or when overclocked at 512x512 resolution. I do have the "Heavy mode (high GPU usage)" box checked and the GPU load limiter unchecked. (I put the temp protection at 97C, and I never exceed 76C.) Is this incorrect and the cause of my problems? Problem Details: Using the OC Scanner at any resolution greater than 512x512 at stock speeds and voltages (797 MHz core / 1594 MHz shader / 2025 MHz memory / 1.063 Vcore ) causes frame-rate in Furry test to drop by 50% after just a frame or two of operating. If I close the OC Scanner Furry test and start a new instance of it as quickly as possible, after several attempts, I can get the frame-rate to "stick" at the higher values and stay there. This occurred before I overclocked the card, but only at resolutions greater than 512x512 in windowed mode or in full-screen modes and it seems like a power throttle to me. I am now overclocked (at a 24/7 folding -advmethods stable setup) at the following values 904.5 MHz core / 1809 MHz shader / 2016 MHz memory / 1.138 Vcore (had a NAN occur at 1.125 Vcore after 2 months of folding, so raised the voltage slightly and no problems since.) With those settings, I power-throttle even at 512x512 in the Furry test and I get a 49 FPS or so value. If I close and open the benchmark rapidly, I can get it to stick at 98 FPS or so, and it's stable there. I'm using a custom fan profile, software controlled by evga Precision, which has my fan at 97% and temperature holding stable at 76C while at 100% GPU core load, without the fan speeds or temperatures changing. I am not experiencing any power throttling while folding at all, nor am I seeing any power throttling in any of the games that I play or in the evga OC Scanner Tessy benchmark. 3DMark11 and Heaven benchmarks also run great with no issues. The problem seems to be with the OC Scanner, and I've had this problem since I bought the card about three months ago. The problem occurred with the older version of OC Scanner and with this version as well. From what I read elsewhere, the evga OC Scanner is not supposed to power-throttle the card, but Furmark and other high-stress benchmarks are supposed to. I'm fairly certain that OC Scanner is throttling me. I doubt that my motherboard, cpu, RAM, or power supply matter, but just in case they do: Asus P8P67 WS Revolution, Intel i5-2500K (overclocked at 4.7 GHz), 2x 4GB G.Skill F3-12800CL8-4GBXM (at stock xmp timings), Corsair TX850W (CMPSU-850TX). I have one HDD and one optical drive and a wireless usb keyboard/mouse hub, and am not powering any other peripheral devices through the system. The PC is running through a 1500VA APC UPS, so I doubt that power supply is an issue at all. So am I doing something wrong, is there a problem with the OC Scanner, is this a problem with the drivers, or is this some random gremlin that's only affecting me?

I have installed evga ocscannerX for my gtx680. When I run the stress test the GPU load doesn't rise to 90%. It stay at 14% ! when i run the benchmark test it goes to 85%. Then the stress test goes higher. What to do to correct the problem. I already reinstalled the scanner software.
