I've been hosting a server for quite some time, however the number of players have dropped off.  Here is my plan, we have been digging a pretty epic sized pyramid and for all those who come assist on the dig will be promoted to the highest level user on my server once i get the changes through, which gives access more or less to all commands versus the few that there will be for normal users.
 
So, come check out my website at http://moosemanstudios.com, browse about on the minecraft page and see our world, and then pop in on the server itself at moosemanstudios.com  I've been working on more features for the website its jut a matter of finishing them up.
 
EDIT: guess i should mention, we have a few worlds going simultaneously, we have one called freebuild, where basically anything goes, pretty generous about spawning stuff within reasonable amounts.  Another world is nether, self explanatory.  We have whats called redstone, which is just a giant tutorial/playground for messing around with redstone circuits.  And then we have survival, which is about as authentic to the game as you can get, go mine the materials to build your empire -- this world however will be deleted and started afresh when the adventure update is released so we can get everything thats been added since the world was started back in alpha.

I've got a minecraft server that I host for friends. We've got quite a good deal going. Good luck getting others to go there. I love the game just for the fun of building when I'm not looking to do something that requires more twitch mechanic like reflexes.

I know, I'm guilty of not wandering around, but I crash more when I'm in your server than any other.

I'm really not sure what the deal is, my server seriously only crashes once a week if that, and its a 2 second fix.  I know latency can be a bit of an issue occassionally but no one really complains bout that either.

Well we have made some serious progress on my minecraft server with the ultimate project.  Here is a view from each of the directions standing on top of the pyramid.




In the last picture there the chunk over the pyramid thats sticking out.  i dug that entier thing out in like 6 hours today so its now gone LOL.
I mean hows that for some labor, all done by hand no cheating and using map editors at all.

Sorry havent been able to continue digging out the epic pyramid in a while moose. Ill try pop in again tomorrow :)

If anyones interested in joining just shoot me a PM or post your minecraft name here so i can add you, my server doesn't have whitelisting so anybody can log in, its just you can't build.  I'm searching for a way to allow people agree to some like in game TOS and then it will let them build but till then i have to manually add people.

Went on your server yesterday and WOW you guys have been busy lol.  Some Amazing work you guys have done. I spent almost 2 hours just walking around looking some of the things you guys have built. Very cool stuff.   BTW my minecraft name is 4g63pilot : )

Moose I need help ! Fell in a bottomless hole. I didnt die but now I'm floating in air and the server keeps booting me saying flying is not enabled.  I cant do anything and I just spent hours getting resources .  Anyway you can reset me without me loosing my goods ?
