Have you tried setting everything to default and starting from the ground up? Im not trying to sound like a smartass, im being serious. I found my LinX 20 passes Prime 95 8 hour 4.207 GHz OC with everything on default with just a little vcore increase and my RAM settings tightened.

His Vdimm is at 1.55, thats why he's getting the bsod.

most voltage are on Auto now except, Vcore:1.35, VTT:125mv, DIMM:1.63, and im at 21X196
I don't get BSOD anymore but welcome to the heat :(
while running prime95 realtemp shows 91 max,
-Can I know whats the last temp that realtemp shows, for a CPU to get burn???
-and btw im not using my 2nd 8-pin CPU power connector on E760 mobo, If I use it, will that help to reduce Vcore and temp??
plz help with these 2 questions,
thanks.

Man, just a suggestion, could we maybe start at a lower clock and work our way up or do we have to jump right for 4GHz. If you want to start at a bclk  of 160 or so I'd be glad to help you, but if you're set on racing to 4  gig I'm going to have to bow out because I see troubles down the road. And sorry, just for one thing, I don't know how to say this gently, that V8 is not the ticket to 4GHz, I had one, fan modded it, not until I got a Megahalem did I start to see the light over in that 4.0GHz playing area.

A stock V8 should get you close to 4.0Ghz . A aftermarket fan would help the V8 get you there.

Just got to run tests man. I needed 300 VTT to get over 4ghz. I also needed 1.4 vcore as well. It all depends on your chip. For Example I can do 3.85ghz with a 1.26875 vcore. But 3.95ghz needs a 1.35 vcore. And 4ghz Needs a 1.41 vcore. This chip is really the easiest chip ive ever overclocked. And combined with the classified its a dream. Keep working at it and you will get it. Just remember this board is awesome so leave everything at auto and just work with  vdimm, vtt, and vcore. Maybe up the cpu pwm to 940 but thats all really. If you read the guide you will learn that the unknown hardware error BSOD is usually caused by too low or too high VTT. It can also be due to your memory settings. I recommend underclocking your memory and using LinX to pass tests. Once you pass 30- 50 linX tests (about 2-3 hours of LinX) Then you can up the ram speed and test with Prime95 Blend. Dont use LinX again after you up the ram speeds beacause it will most likely still pass you even if you have memory issues. Prime95 Blend is best for telling you that your ram speed and timings are stable. LinX is best for telling you that your vcore and cpu are stable. Good Luck!

My suggestions:

Use Shin-Etsu X23-7783D or Arctic Cooling MX3 or MX2

I have built 3 EVGA X58 SLI LE systems for other people with the Cooler Master V8 and I quit using them... they look cool but that's about it.  I even replaced the fan with a Delta 150 cfm fan which is a little loud and it still was not as good as a Promlimatech with a moderate fan.

But you can still get to a Prime95 stable 4ghz which is the 191 bclk with turbo on easy enough with an i7 slbej "do" stepping chip and your Classified.

I would take your memory down to the 2:6 divider 800mhz and set the vdimm to 1.65 to  and VTT to 1.375v to eliminate the memory factor and work on getting it higher later after you get your cpu stable.

If I remember right your Vcore will be around 1.375v to 1.45v and VTT around 1.4v  to 1.5v depending on your chip. You might end up adding a little VTT PLL... I think one of the rigs needed 1.2v of that.

Use the guides suggested and work your way up slow... you should have no problem getting there.

Sorry... I probably should have clarified that.  When I said 1.4v to 1.5 volt VTT...I was referring to CPU VTT  which would be +200 to +300 in the bios on a Classified... you can check that with Eleet.

Make sure you read and do this as was suggested by clwoodwork:

clwoodwork

Read this guide from Shansmihttp://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=7528 in it he indicates that for a 124 stop bsod try increasing your vcore or cpu vtt little by litle till you see results.

Peace, Chuck

thanks man, waiting to find a thermal compound in my country cauz on eBay the shipping cost is too much, im getting MX-2 over $38 some $28.8 including shipping, its too much.
my country is not like USA where we get all you know :(

one doubt, if ever I remove my heatsink, can I just put it back WITHOUT cleaning and reapplying the thermal compound OR its a must??

I have built 3 EVGA X58 SLI LE systems for other people with the Cooler Master V8 and I quit using them... they look cool but that's about it.  I even replaced the fan with a Delta 150 cfm fan which is a little loud and it still was not as good as a Promlimatech with a moderate fan.

The V8 is not the best cooler on the market but it is good enough to get you to ~3.8 without a problem, anything else, you'll need a better cooler.

It's a shame, cause I love the look of the V8. It's the best looking design.

Planned build:
Intel i7 920
EVGA X58 Micro
EVGA GTX360 (when they come out)
EVGA GTS 250 (Main GPU for now, Physix later)
6gb Corsair Dominator GT 1600
Corsair TX650W
Cooler Master V8
Cooler Master Storm Scout
Corsair 64gb SSD (OS and programs only)
2x WD Caviar black 500gb HDD (Media storage)
LG W2453V 24" 1080p monitor
W7 Home premium 64bit

thats what attract me with the V8, its look :)  look like an engine through the case window.

anyone know abt this: "one doubt, if ever I remove my heatsink, can I just put it back WITHOUT cleaning and reapplying the thermal compound OR its a must??"

You need to use new thermal compund each time.

I never had a chip that it couldn't get to 4 ghz and one to 4.2ghz... but it does depends on the chip.
